Christopher Hunt

Christopher Hunt is a principal and founder of the Cleveland, Ohio office of Cardea Partners with a decade focused on the evolving derivatives marketplace. Chris recently passed the Series 50 examination for qualification as a Municipal Advisor Representative.  Prior to founding Cardea Partners, he was vice president of interest rate and energy derivatives at KeyBank, NA in the Great Lakes and Eastern regions, covering middle market, real estate, high net worth, not-for-profit, and institutional clients.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University with concentrations in mathematics and landscape architecture.  He also holds a M.S. in financial engineering from Kent State University, a MBA from the New York Institute of Technology, and a M.Sc. in golf course architecture from Edinburgh University.  Prior to entering the world of finance, Chris practiced as a golf course architect, working on projects across the United States and abroad.  He is a member of the Association For Corporate Growth (ACG), the Urban Land Insitute (ULI), the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA), and the Cornell Club of Northeast Ohio, and sits on three not for profit boards.
